Moorthy Natarajan
Moorthy Natarajan is a Chennai-based film and media professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu cinema. A writer, screenwriter, and associate director by craft, he has collaborated with acclaimed directors including K. Bhagyaraj, Kavee Kalidoss, Sriram Padmanaban, and R. Subramaniya Bharathi — contributing to notable productions Vishnuvarthana, Beemavaram Bolludu, Panchali and Anantha Vaazhkai.
Since August 2023, Moorthy serves as Managing Editor of Thiraimozhi, a monthly cinema newspaper that has earned recognition from veterans across the Tamil film industry. Under his leadership, the publication bridges print and digital storytelling for a new generation of cinema enthusiasts.
As an author, he is currently at work on Iraval Mugam, a cinema psychological thriller, and Sa(Si)nthipoma, both of which reflect his deep engagement with narrative craft and the inner lives of characters
